- Joint Replacement Surgery
Sports Medicine Care
Because Dr. Schoene is a certified athletic trainer, she takes a special interest in sports and dance related injuries. Athletic activity can put undue stress on your lower extremity. Whether you are an elite, professional athlete, dancer or a recreational athlete, special attention should be given to your lower extremity. For the athletes and dancers she treats, Dr. Schoene strives to get them back to competition and performance quickly, while stressing the importance of conditioning and prevention.
She commonly discusses proper shoe gear and educates patients on proper foot care. In many instances, Dr. Schoene will recommend physical therapy, massage therapy and/or nutritional therapy to complete a holistic approach to the patientÃs rehabilitation program, in order to achieve optimal results. |
